Terms of use

Donation for Nothing (nothing.gripe) lets you pay any amount, for nothing, and leave a request. By making a contribution you agree to these terms.

What you are paying for

Nothing. A contribution is a voluntary payment. You receive no product, service, membership, equity, token, reward or right of any kind in return.

It is not a charitable donation, not an investment and not tax-deductible.

Requests

You may add a request or a wish. We read every one. Some are fulfilled, some are considered, some are declined, and some simply stay pending. Nothing is promised, and a request never creates an obligation to do anything.

Requests that are illegal, harmful, hateful, sexual, about a private person, or that ask us to break a platform's rules are declined. We may hide or shorten any text shown publicly.

The public ledger

If you tick the box, your display name, amount and request appear on the public ledger. Otherwise your contribution is recorded privately. You can use "Anonymous" as your name.

Payments

Card, netbanking and wallet payments are processed by Razorpay. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. We never see or store your card or bank details.

For crypto, send the exact amount shown, in the coin and on the network shown, to the one-time address shown. Funds sent on a different network or in a different coin may be lost for good and cannot be recovered by us.

Amounts shown in one currency and paid in another are converted by the payment processor at its rate at the time of payment.

Who can contribute

You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, and you must be authorised to use the payment method you pay with.

Refunds

Contributions are non-refundable except in the cases described on the refunds page.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to the site is limited to the amount you contributed.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to contributions made while it is published. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
