Privacy

We collect as little as the thing needs to work. There are no ads, no cookies and no cross-site trackers on this site.

What we collect

• Display name: whatever you type, or "Anonymous".
• Amount, currency and request text: what you enter in the form.
• Email (optional): used only to send your receipt and updates about your request.
• Payment reference: the Razorpay payment ID or the NOWPayments payment ID, so the contribution can be matched to its payment.
• Telegram: if you message our bot, your Telegram chat ID and username, so replies reach you.

What we do not collect

Card numbers, bank details and wallet keys never reach us; they stay with Razorpay, NOWPayments or your wallet. We do not store your IP address. Your browser keeps your light or dark mode choice in local storage; nothing else is stored on your device.

What is public

Only if you tick the ledger box: your display name, amount, currency, request, its status and any proof we add. Your email and payment reference are never public.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare: hosting, database, and cookieless visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). These are counts of pages viewed, countries and page speed; they do not identify you or follow you to other sites.
• Razorpay: card, netbanking and wallet payments.
• NOWPayments: crypto payments.
• Resend: sending receipt emails.
• Telegram: messages you send to our bot.

How long we keep it

Contributions are kept as a record for as long as the site runs. Unpaid crypto payment attempts are deleted after 7 days. Telegram message routing data is deleted after 180 days.

Your choices

Write to hello@nothing.gripe with your request number to see, correct, hide or delete your data. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.
